What to Wear for Your Senior Portrait Session: A Littleton Photographer's Playbook

Four simple steps from "thinking about it" to prints on your wall.

Inquire

Plan

We pick a location and time (golden hour is a favorite), and I'll send a short wardrobe guide so you feel prepared, not puzzled, the morning of.

Session

About an hour of relaxed time. I guide you through natural poses. Kids run wild. Pets sniff everyone. It's fun, I promise.

Gallery

Within two weeks at most, your private gallery arrives with 75+ edited images — choose your 10 favorites to download, share, and print.

Before You Inquire

How long is a session?

Most portrait sessions run about 1 hour. Extended sessions are available when you want more coverage, multiple outfits, or multiple locations.

How many photos will I get?

Your gallery includes 75+ edited images to browse — you choose your 10 favorites as your final set. You can add more edits any time, and every session includes a private online gallery for easy downloading and sharing.

How long until I receive my gallery?

Two weeks at most for standard sessions, and often sooner. I'll keep you posted so you're not left wondering.

What if the weather is bad?

I watch the forecast and reach out by the afternoon before your session if it looks iffy. If we need to reschedule for weather, we'll find a new date — no fees, no drama.

Where do we shoot?

Outdoor locations across Littleton, the Denver metro, Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Lone Tree, and the broader Front Range. If you've got a specific spot in mind, tell me and I'll scout it. In-home sessions are also available.

What should we wear?

I send a wardrobe guide when you book. Short version: coordinating (not matching), mostly solid colors, skip large logos and neon. If you want a second opinion day-of, text me a photo.

Do you work with pets?

Absolutely. Dogs, cats, horses, and the occasional rabbit. I've been licked on the lens more than once. Pets are welcome in family portraits at no additional cost.

Can you come to my house?

Yes. In-home sessions work great for newborn photos, lifestyle family portraits, or any time weather makes outdoor difficult.

What does a session cost?

Sessions start at $400. Family, senior, and pet portraits share the same base rate, and you can add extra edits, wall art, additional outfits, or extended time as needed.
